Metal Sintering DMLS/SLM

Technology that allows to realize directly metal prototypes, ready to be tested or used as definitive parts. Available metals include Titanium (Ti64 grade 5), CobaltChrome (Cobalt-Chrome F75, Remanium Star CL), Aluminium (AlSi10Mg), StainlessSteel 17-4 and StainlessSteel AISI316L.
DMLS/SLM offers a remarkable precision and the materials are suitable for post-processings like milling and CNC turning, thermal treatments, surface treatments both esthetical and protective. DMLS/SLM is an optimal solution for the production of small lots, already in the definitive material, but without equipment costs (Rapid Manufacturing).

Titanium Ti6242

Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo Titanium Alloy is a weldable, near- alpha titanium alloy offering excellent mechanical strength, stability and creep resistance to temperatures as high as 550°C. The material is used throughout high-tech industry in such market sectors as motorsport and commercial aerospace with applications including precision racing engine parts and hot section gas turbine components such as discs, impellers and turbines. A205/F1 has been formulated to comply with current FIA regulations concerning the use of metal matrix composites (MMC), and is compatible all the leading metal LPBF equipment suppliers. This innovative alloy has already been investigated in several applications within the motorsport sector, and shares much the same properties as the original A205 parent alloy. [ details ]

Titanium TA 15
