to BE 4.0 - the road show dedicated to Industry 4.0 of Unindustria Reggio Emilia visits the Additive Manufacturing Production Factory

On May 15th we hosted in our events hall one of the stages of the roadshow to BE 4.0, a series of events dedicated to Industry 4.0 and organized by Unindustria Reggio Emilia.

to BE 4.0 fa tappa alla Fabbrica Additiva di Zare

Unindustria Reggio Emilia was founded in 1945 to protect and support companies, proposing to respond to the problems that they face daily, in an ever-changing economic and social context.

Zare's Additive Factory was chosen as the venue for the sixth stage of the to BE 4.0 roadshow, dedicated to the 4.0 industry and therefore to the industrial automation that integrates the production technologies with the aim of improving working conditions and increasing productivity and quality.

Industry 4.0 presents itself as a new industrial revolution: being an industry 4.0 means innovating every aspect of work, not just products and technologies, but also training and skills; Unindustria Reggio Emilia aims to make these new opportunities accessible to all companies, small, medium or large, working in synergy with the various players.

In this context, industrial additive production is certainly an enabling element that allows new-generation designers to adopt increasingly more extreme and performing solutions; the meeting to BE 4.0 gave us the opportunity to illustrate to the member entrepreneurs all the possibilities of the additive: from production for prototype purposes, to mass production. During the meeting in our Additive Factory, we were able to discuss the peculiarities and advantages of 3D printing, but also to discuss with entrepreneurs to evaluate together the specific problems and how they can be solved with Additive Manufacturing technologies.

3D printing is a relatively new technology, and meetings such as the one organized by Unindustria are a unique opportunity to get hands-on with all the latest innovations to the players who will benefit most: it was very interesting to drive entrepreneurs into the Additive Factory, illustrating the technologies and materials confronting them with problems and solutions.

Thanks to Unindustria Reggio Emilia and Davide Bezzecchi, head of industrial research and innovation, for choosing us in this path of innovation.
